Users Accuse Anthropic of Hypocrisy in Cursor Deal
Posts claim Anthropic pulled compute from Windsurf but refuses to do the same for Cursor.
Beff Jezos posted that Anthropic should assign Tom Brown and Sholto to external communications. YacineMTB replied that Anthropic head of compute stated they would not pull resources from Cursor. The same user claimed the company had done exactly that to Windsurf and that Cursor controls all of Anthropic's compute. Additional replies called the conduct slimey and sociopathic while noting Elon Musk's leverage over the partnership.
