definitely it is a huge change, and i do know some people who are excited about it; and have also seen the angst.

we will see how it all shakes out.

and also how stable the code is.

it was interesting to hear that he has seen it happen

I do wonder if in the tech industry we just don't like change? As in 90%+ of devs or so (and maybe true for any and all industries?) Chris Lattner had a similar observation

Not debating it's a massive change now btw
