TP-Link Tapo Doorbell Pro D260’s subscription-free features and limits

Gizmodo’s review says the $220 Tapo D260 offers 4K video, microSD storage and on-device person, animal and package detection without a subscription. Cloud storage is optional. It can run on battery or existing doorbell wiring, but lacks Apple Home support. The reviewer liked its daytime footage and reliable alerts, though distant details were harder to make out.
