A comparison from Digit places Samsung's expected Galaxy S27 Ultra against two already announced premium phones, Apple's iPhone 18 Pro Max and Vivo's X300 Ultra.
The exercise mixes current specifications with rumors about an unreleased Samsung device. Digit's article says the S27 Ultra is expected in early 2027, so its details can still change.
Displays and processors separate the three
Digit expects Samsung to use a 6.9-inch 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a second-generation privacy feature. The iPhone 18 Pro Max also has a 6.9-inch 120Hz OLED screen, while Vivo's X300 Ultra uses a 6.82-inch 144Hz panel.
The expected Samsung configuration pairs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 with LPDDR6 memory and UFS 5.1 storage. Apple uses its A20 Pro chip, and Vivo uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Those platform labels do not establish real-world speed or battery life without comparable testing.
