TLDR

Gizmodo's review calls the $449-and-up Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) a modest update. Its playback test suggested about six hours of battery life, versus about five hours for the previous generation. The glasses also have thinner arms and adjustable temple tips, but people the reviewer called heard background noise, and the reviewer saw little reason for Gen 2 owners to upgrade.
