@rand_longevity If Anthropic is edged out of the race, that’s the end of US AI industry and competitive power. The only other contender is Gemini but Google is lazy af and doesn’t seem to take the race seriously. It’s disappointing.

@rand_longevity I’m afraid we haven’t seen anything yet. AGI/ASI is going to get messy in ways we haven’t even considered. They need to figure it out soon. Abundance and more free time would be nice, but I want fresh telomeres and mitochondria ASAP.

@rand_longevity Build your own model. AI nationalism, like it or not, is where we are right now politically. Don't rely on American coattails. A European AI moonshot is the sort of thing the EU should be for. Get all your AI talent in one facility and let them cook.
