Over the last few months of preview in Frontier, we’ve seen you use Cowork to help with so many different tasks. We’ve also been listening closely to your feedback and with GA, we’re bringing you more improvements + new features across model choice, extensibility through plugins, browser automation, and cost management controls.

This is the same company that kept Internet Explorer alive for 27 years.
The same browser that only existed so you could download Chrome.
And they had the confidence to make it the default browser on every Windows PC on the planet.
Microsoft does not know what shame is.
And honestly that is a superpower. Because Copilot is actually good now.
Same company. Same confidence. Different product.
If Microsoft can go from Internet Explorer to enterprise AI agents without a single apology.
You can survive whatever embarrassing thing you shipped last quarter.

@satyanadella enterprise is finally catching up to the local workflow. giving long-running agents access to your entire context basically turns a solo builder into a full org.

The winning move when Microsoft first partnered with OpenAI, would of been to keep it in stealth mode, refine the models, and release it purely as a B2B subscription for niche roles like a digital secretary.

@satyanadella Probably need to rebrand it. "CoPilot CoWork" sounds like something marketed to Boomers and repels anyone under 60. You'd honestly do better calling it "Clippy".

My two favorite things we did:
1. We found it a full-time job to keep up with AI's new features and where things are going. So every morning it reviews all the news released yesterday about new features, focusing on our Microsoft stack, and provides a report on what we should focus on and consider implementing.
2. A couple times a day, it reviews all communications with my team—the transcripts and emails—and compiles a list of everything they're working on, what roadblocks they're facing, and tasks I need to follow up on. It also provides a status update on every one of their projects, combining project management and all the tools available in Microsoft.
@satyanadella Copilot and Cowork communicate the same idea though. The naming is a bit weird.
