Many users praise the five-minute AI teaser for hybrid feature Nexus as spectacular with a fresh story, while others dismiss it as AI slop.

Details about the film to follow in the weeks/months to come.
This will be a huge project, shot hybrid on a volume.
Massive thank you to the Dreamina team for giving us lots of support for this teaser!
Thank you to Dan Weller, Karim Youssef and Stephen Quach!

@PJaccetturo Amazing visuals, but the use of 'I need a hero' completely breaks the immersion. Can't wait to see the full project. 🫡

@malinformedtv We're going to be testing different vibes over the next couple months with weekly content, I like how Guardians of the Galaxy integrated modern music but it's a tough balance to play

@PJaccetturo Loved the characters, consistency and world building. The edits not bad too. Behind scenes coming soon?

Just made a video deploring that there are too many dragons in AI filmmaking... 😅Well... never mind, This is awesome, I must admit. It's rare to see this much variety in shots and angles, and it really makes a difference. How did you get the human faces with Seedance 2? I get flagged all the time.

For me personally, the amazing world you depict, a Moroccan souk in a high sci-fi fantasy world, would be better accompanied by mixing Arabic / North African chanting vocals with some kind of glitch trip-hop or intense electronic cinematic music. You could easily get this by running a prompt through suno about 20 times then stitching together the different results into one coherent whole. I have gotten good results personally from using this technique, although I do podcasts, not high cinema. =)

@Cocoanetics yeah that's why we'll shoot it hybrid -- almost all the character closeups will be shot on an LED volume with real actors

@PJaccetturo A feature film from three people in two weeks would have sounded impossible a year ago, and here we are.

@PJaccetturo That’s pretty fantastic 👏🏼

@BarrakAli We mad this 5min teaser in two weeks, full movie will take 6-9 months because we'll shoot it hybrid and push for a big theaterical release :)

@EricKerArt Thanks! They allow CPP members to use faces

@PJaccetturo @jordandchesney Bro this was insane. I loved every second of it. The imagination, the details, everything makes it feel like there’s a whole world behind it. Really well done 👏🏼

@PJaccetturo Of course we want a dragon movie! Who feels right to you for distribution? A24? Lionsgate? Or Amazon MGM for hybrid theater and streaming? Either way - I like it and ready to support with buying a ticket!

@PJaccetturo Thanks for the answer ! (all right, just been granted face reference this morning as CPP). Great worldbuilding by the way. Must have been even more work than the filmmaking itself. Keep up the great work!

@PJaccetturo Very very good, it’d give it 95%. There are a few people shots that look not quite right yet for the emotion. But it is strangely captivating and does not disappoint.

@EricKerArt Thanks Eric, congrats on the CPP!

@Cherelynn can't say anything public on that yet :D

@AndrewFromDO Next week!

@PJaccetturo Just know that i was here…cause this is soon gonna become a valuable piece history..

@PJaccetturo this is stupid. all these fake pawns filling the comments with fake praise. fuck outta here. i see modified assets of Game of Thrones mixed with How to Train Your Dragon. you wasted your time and ours.
