Andon Labs Drone Uses GPT-6 Astra to Track Person

Andon Labs announced and shared video of an autonomous drone guided by GPT-6 Astra. The system takes a reference image of a person and navigates through their office space to find and follow that individual. The startup described the project as a demonstration that AI can be dangerous and a prompt for public conversation about deployment decisions. Kevin Roose and others posted reactions highlighting the unsettling nature of the technology. Andon Labs stated this marks the first model to surpass human performance on all five Drone-Bench tasks in at least one attempt.
