just learned about a $50k entry level tier to $250k for benchtop plasma accelerator.
i think we should be able to make it the cost of a microwave klystron eventually when people make their atomic 1950's furnaces mr fusion
but like, still it's awesome that you can get something relevant for a benchtop fusion source as a product. as in, you don't have to fund a whole department of scientists -- they went out to fund themselves
