Two Claude Code builders leave Anthropic
Thariq says he worked on Claude Code for over a year; Anthony Morris says he created its desktop version.
TLDR
Thariq said he left Anthropic after more than a year working on Claude Code and plans to take a break before starting something new. Anthony Morris said he created Claude Code on desktop and that his last day at Anthropic was October 23, 2026. He credited community feature requests and bug reports with shaping the product and said he’ll share what’s next soon.
