Please tell every mathematician you know that AI safety is very talent bottlenecked. They can skill up quickly with BlueDot, MATS, and similar, and then transition to AI safety work at labs, orgs like Resolution and METR, and sometimes govt roles; see the 80k job board for AI.

@lukeprog DO NOT start working for AI companies unless you want to be part of the problem. Intending to work in AI Safety is often a stepping stone to working frankly on AI capabilities. You can just have another job or fight for a better society. http://pauseai-us.org
