Record & Replay is wildly underrated. You teach ChatGPT a workflow by doing the work once. The recording becomes a map the system can understand, repeat, and eventually improve. OpenAI should go much harder on this.
Teaching the model once - you can do so much. Hiten is way ahead of the curve but so nice to see him sharing. He is teaching us almost as fast as he teaches the models

Strategically speaking, this seemingly trivial feature is the strongest wedge into b2b workflows that I can imagine OpenAI having today. Especially when it looks like people tend be have Claude at work versus ChatGPT.

The opportunity with Record & Replay goes way beyond automating repetitive work. Every company has thousands of workflows trapped inside people’s heads. They stay there because showing someone how the work gets done is far easier than documenting every step, judgment call, and exception. Record it once. Turn it into a reusable skill. Let the person correct it. Share it with the team. Keep improving it as the work changes. Over time, the company builds a living library of how it actually operates. That is a much bigger opportunity than productivity. It is a path for OpenAI to become part of how the business itself runs.
