"We are all in the same scholarly boat here, trying to pump out mistakes faster than we make them" - me after a day of paper writing, to two LLMs (one apologizing profusely to the other one for having accused it of hallucinating a reference that did exist.)
It is amusing when a LLM accuses another LLM of writing an unnecessarily wordy text, then suggests changes that makes the paper 7 pages longer. It is very much like a functional parody of us academics.
