EndeavorSpace Exits Stealth With $10.75M Seed Round
Space startup reveals seed funding and plans for satellite backhaul network to replace subsea fiber.
EndeavorSpace announced its emergence from stealth in a post from founder Tyler Presser. The company raised a 10.75 million dollar seed round co-led by General Catalyst and Andreessen Horowitz. David Ulevitch at a16z stated excitement about working with Presser and co-founder Horowitz on EndeavorSpace. He noted satellite capabilities now allow a space-based backhaul network to make more sense than laying additional subsea fiber, with EON set to deliver it. Mark Suster observed the round as further evidence of a growing hard tech ecosystem in Los Angeles that addresses key issues for companies and the United States.
