We want to thank @POTUS @WhiteHouse and @Freedom250 for this address to the REINDUSTRIALIZE summit. 90% of Americans want to manufacture more things at home, and we all understand the challenges ahead. This is what makes America great: our willingness to charge headfirst into the fray, reject stagnation, and reimagine the world around us through hard work, innovation, and industry. The future belongs to the BUILDERS. That is why we gather in Detroit: to honor the spirit, ingenuity, and grit of those who built before us, and to build anew for future generations of Americans. We have a generational opportunity to unite technology and manufacturing as the foundation for America's next 250 years. Thank you for your support Mr. President, we will never back down.

If you’re still calling your hard working teammates “labor” and aren’t giving them shares in the company;

Last year at @reindsummit I spent most of my time networking.
This year I spent most of my time listening.
Maybe my ears are biased as an educator, but two underlying themes kept surfacing throughout the summit: culture and talent.
One talk that stuck with me was Chris Power and Antonio Gracias.
There is no shortage of capital.
There is no shortage of problems worth solving.
Fierce cooperation.
Fight like hell and team up. Or China will.
Ban the word labor. Replace with,People. Teams. Technicians.
Reward and incentivize technicians the same way Silicon Valley rewards software engineers.
All work is valuable if done well.
There was a clear sense that winter is over and America is entering a new Industrial Revolution.
Lots of conversations about AI, manufacturing, defense, energy, infrastructure, and growth.
Yet across all of them, the same constraint kept surfacing.
Skilled people.
If skilled workers are the bottleneck, then culture, training, and education are not optional.

@ScrutineerLuca @reindsummit very true.

@ScrutineerLuca @reindsummit Companies have to stop worrying about teaching people things and losing them. These talents have to be taught by companies currently operating. Instead of having manufacturing associations that talk about wages, maybe pivot to upping the skill level.

@2112Power @reindsummit 💯

@2112Power @reindsummit unlocking opportunity for upward social mobility and enabling the American dream 🇺🇸

@reindsummit @POTUS @WhiteHouse @Freedom250 Como posso mostra minha ideia?

@2112Power @reindsummit Always loved how Toyota approaches this - Team Member.

@ScrutineerLuca @reindsummit Same conversation in UK manufacturing. Everyone says pay technicians like software engineers. Nobody does. Skills gap is self-inflicted.
