@Noahpinion How could he be part of the revolution? As we all know he’s never trained a neural network before

@Noahpinion If someone created an inverse Marcus portfolio back when Marcus started saying Deep Learning was hitting a wall back around 2018, they would be up like 100X by now.

@Noahpinion and right more than I would like to admit

@Noahpinion Yeah, why didn’t he join a lab instead of becoming a blogger who angrily rants about the AI industry?

@Noahpinion no he couldn't have - you need to be good to be part of the revolution

@Noahpinion It’s better without him, don’t you think?

@Noahpinion Idk Zitron was by far the worst guest on the Last Invention podcast series about AI

@Noahpinion You manage to be wrong 99% of the time without even having the benefit of being fun you miserable gooner

@Noahpinion Naysayers need a hero, and they found it in Gary Marcus. Sadly Gary Marcus ("LLMs are off ramp") crowd appears to be most clueless bunch in the face of tremendous AI progress everyday. They have to keep making new excuses everyday to sound sane.

@Noahpinion now you've done it. you've insulted gary marcus. his enormous bloviating ego will never forgive.

@Noahpinion Time will tell.

@Noahpinion He singlehandley forced OpenAI to push their IPO to 2027. He must’ve got a lot right there z

@Noahpinion Three intoxicated AI doomers yucking it up, whistling past the graveyard.

@Noahpinion Zitron doesn't seem wrong about near-term token economics and the sustainability of the current frontier lab business models... he refuses to acknowledge what will happen if costs come down and capabilities keep going up, because he's assuming they won't.

@Noahpinion this is a great take
