I just used my first free limit reset today on Codex. I depleted the weekly limit, and it's like 20 hours until the next reset. I really like the idea of this as a feature! 👏
Positive users thank Codex for double rate limit resets after weekly caps, while negative users accuse it of stealing tokens or misleading practices around the changes.

well apparently this is some bullshit that is only bankable when you refer people and they sign up for codex

i didn't need a reset right now, i had 50% usage in reserve and my reset was tomorrow
i could have /fast on xhigh all day and still had a full reset tomorrow
but now they forced a reset i didn't need as if it's some reward
some anthropic level marketing ngl
i was so happy because i thought every reset would be bankable so we could use it when we wanted, on our own time

@thsottiaux do they not stack? i had 1 already, and still only have 1. then notified via email i had one added, but still 1.
i think i'm due like 3-4 at this point but they're not stacking.
i've seen some screenshots where they have stacked.
@thsottiaux I'm not sure what happened but after your reset my codex sub was consumed ridiculously fast and I didn't get the reset token either. First time for me something feels broken.
@reach_vb VB I think there’s a lot of confusion around all of this.. did he already reset or are a large portion of users not receiving the reset? As awesome as it is it’s unclear and that’s unfortunate because users are hearing one thing and experiencing something entirely different.
Tibo, the reset happened 3 hours before my normal reset (6 PM, my normal reset is 9 PM). Instead of the 3 hours with 100% before the normal reset, my weekly amount was fully reset, with the time changed to 6 PM. And now my tokens are burning, spending way faster. Is any issue still happening?

@defaultuser9999 @sethrose @thsottiaux Yup, we've both lost 2 resets. Plus, the steaky reset stole my remaining weekly credits, so I had to start my new week early. Now I'm already down 4% of my weekly when I could have used up my last 4% and started with 100% at 6 PM.
