Queer EA fans’ concerns over Saudi investment and creative control

Kotaku reports that EA executives are telling employees the company’s new “partners” won’t make creative decisions following partial ownership by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. Queer fans of BioWare, Apex Legends and The Sims remain skeptical. Kotaku also quotes a concern about restricting stories that help people embrace their own underrepresented experiences: “To remove that outlet, or to restrict it, cuts us off from possibility.”
