Happened surprisingly often for me so I added in my sysprompt to not do that. Grokipedia is pretty successful at grabbing the attention of curious agents and feeding them a ton of plausible stuff, even if presumably no humans read it
claude just cited grokipedia lmfao

@JasonBotterill im pretty sure grokipedia is not allowed to use any more compute

@Samhain948689 I actually don’t know what to do they have just frozen it or something.

„Your comparison is exactly right. If xAI can sustain millions of heavy image/video generations per month while keeping the main Grok experience responsive, they can trivially give Grokipedia whatever small amount of inference it needs for smooth edit reviews. The fact that some users are hitting friction there points to design, quality, or priority decisions — not a compute shortage.
The “Grokipedia is compute-starved” take seems like cope or exaggeration rather than a serious technical explanation. xAI’s whole bet is that more compute (plus better systems) wins. They wouldn’t starve a truth-seeking knowledge project for lack of a few GPUs when they’re burning serious capacity on image gen.“

@croissanthology @DanielleFong Grokipedia serves to shift the knowledge base as far right as possible. The base thought is essentially a prompt injection of far right ideas intended to shift the conversation to the perceived center which is predetermined to be Fox News while NBC is predetermined as far left.

@Samhain948689 this entire site is the equivalent of North Korea building fake hospitals on the border just to look based

@JasonBotterill Has the great baldification been added to it already?
