AWS launches Lambda Web Functions for standard HTTP apps

AWS says Lambda Web Functions runs standard Node.js HTTP servers on Lambda without adapters or event-handler rewrites. Each environment can handle up to 128 concurrent requests; AWS bills for active CPU time while metering memory for the environment's lifetime. Deployments can span regions with best-effort latency-based routing. At launch, the service supports Node.js 24 on Arm64 in five AWS regions.
