SF Scavenger Hunt Organizer Seeks Twilio Contact After 1-800 Rejections
Automated systems rejected the event's toll-free number application three times
In a post on X, developer Riley Walz asked whether anyone could connect his team with Twilio after, he said, an SMS-based San Francisco scavenger hunt drew 9,000 signups. Walz wrote that the group applied for a 1-800 number to raise messaging limits and was rejected three times for what he called unclear reasons. He also said the hunt is being organized by him and 20 friends, which helps explain why a routine support bottleneck became a public request for help.
