Codex Users Spotted on Planes Cafes and in Lobbies
OpenAI Codex team members report seeing the tool used in public spaces.
Thibault Sottiaux, engineering lead on OpenAI's Codex team, posted that he sees more Codex users on airplanes and in cafes and called the underdog energy mainstream. Jason Liu, a developer experience engineer on the Codex team, replied that he notices the same in hotel lobbies. Liu added that he wishes the design were more distinctive to Codex so team members could spot users easily, since many others copy the design.
