Anthropic previews Claude Duet agent; IPO filing reportedly possible as early as Oct 23

Anthropic opened a research preview of Claude Duet, an app it says brings users matters needing their attention, completes requested tasks and keeps working when they step away. It says Duet checks before acting on a user’s behalf. Separately, Unusual Whales, citing Yahoo Finance, reported on October 22 that Anthropic could publicly file for an IPO as early as October 23.
