Neowin says Microsoft updated its roadmap with a December 2026 general-availability date for Watermark Protection in Edge for Business. Admins will need Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 and a Purview or DLP policy with a restrictive action, such as blocking copying, uploads or printing; a label or audit-only policy won't trigger a watermark. Neowin says the watermark does not itself prevent photos or screenshots.
