AI is moving faster than Washington, and that has to change.

I released a bipartisan discussion draft to create a federal AI strategy that will keep the most powerful AI models safe, protect American workers and make sure our innovators lead the world.

I want to get this right, which is why I’m calling for folks to provide their input: GAAIA@mail.house.gov

People should take up Rep. Trahan and Rep. Obernolte on their call for input on GAAIA.

Rest assured companies/trade associations will, but will safety-oriented folks?

@RepLoriTrahan Mr. TraMAN - AI in the hands of the Deep State New World Order globalists that YOU are a puppet to has the potential to destroy humanity. AI is as good as who programs it. Don’t allow Google anywhere near AI.

@RepLoriTrahan If you're concerned about corporate control of AI, why kowtow to their demands with a bill that preempts state regulation?

This is true but slowing down is not an option at this point. It’s a short sighted and irresponsible. How can we “make sure our innovators lead the world.” while happening the industry with more useless government regulations. Would love to know how we continue to innovate while stopping innovation?🤔

@RepLoriTrahan No state preemption! Stop shielding the very corporations you’re pretending to hold accountable. Otherwise your concerns are mostly performative (we know they are)

@Miles_Brundage I think the best way is to show by example some of the areas that show both vulnerabilities and exploits that are being targeted.

Here. I built safety that scales.

Now focus on grocery prices and getting moms and dads more money and time for their families. •

@RepLoriTrahan Sure I trust Democrats handling AI. After all Democrats installed a guy with diminished mental faculties in charge of the Nuclear codes and claimed he was as sharp as a tack. You go girl!

@Miles_Brundage the real question is whether their version of input includes anyone who sees the risks firsthand or just the usual DC pipeline
