iOS 27's new CarPlay features are great, but only these iPhones can actually use them - Engadget

TLDR

iOS 27 runs on iPhone 11 and later. CarPlay adds a mini-player and progress bar, plus video while parked in cars whose manufacturers support it. Siri AI in CarPlay requires an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16 or later and isn't available in the EU. On supported iPhones, Apple Intelligence can create Shortcuts from natural-language prompts; the update also brings custom Wallet passes.
