To elaborate: AWS started by offering raw storage and compute (S3 and EC2), then layered on higher-level services over time, such as managed databases or queuing. Stripe started with raw payment rails, and has added products like subscriptions and analytics. AI companies could certainly start with raw models and then layer on verticalized products like legal, financial, or science.
