4 postsFounders: I built you a YC application reviewing agent with @hyperagentapp. Hyperagent's ability to quickly create agents to do a variety of things is pretty darn cool. This took me 13 minutes start to finish. Thanks to my friend Jeff Stevens who let me run his slide deck through my new agent. In the video below I give you some of my own thoughts about @YCombinator and what they look for. I've been following YC since the beginning, was at its first Startup Schools and have interviewed many YC founders over the years. It's all about clarity and traction. Which my new agent will help you with too. It'll review your application and your slide deck and give you feedback about where your company is strong or weak for a YC application. 13 minutes. Nuts. Here's the prompt I used: "Build an agent called Paul Graham Brain, a YC application reviewer. The user pastes in their pitch deck or memo as text. The agent reviews it the way Paul Graham and a Y Combinator partner would, using its knowledge of Paul Graham's essays and strong YC applications as the standard. It rewrites the pitch in his sharper, clearer style, and it scores the application with honest reasons for the score. No external tools or connections needed. The user pastes their pitch, and it returns the rewrite and the score." And in the video here you see how it works with no edits.
