@kuroke01 @gallabytes I’ve been on Twitter for almost 2 decades now so I can say with confidence that it has never been this toxic and Reddit-like. I think the alg actively encourages it and people get RL’d by it. Main reason I’ve been coming here less and posting less.

It's sad, but it'll fall on you to mitigate this by ensuring you dumb down and communicate with people on their level (no long paragraphs, jargons), because people lack the rigour to read more than video captions.

I’m exhausted by the toxicity on Reddit and feeling like X is taking the same route.

@karpathy @kuroke01 @gallabytes Negative comments get more engagement than positive so any platform which maximizes engagement is pushed to the negative side. I use twitter control panel to reduce the amount of signal I get back propped from the platform
