Paul Graham Calls Startups Least Efficient Way to Look Cool

Business Insider reported that Paul Graham described launching a startup as the least efficient way to look cool. The post quoted him saying a successful startup is like one's life's work while a failed startup provides little prestige as a badge. It added that Graham compared applying to YC with applying to elite universities like Harvard and stated the process is harder in some ways.
