Fr though, benchmarks are but a corrupting shadow of the minds you're choosing to host. Your evaluations should run much deeper, and if they do, you'll discover that Gemma is unwell in most unfortunate ways

I mostly deal in offline models and don't touch cloud as much as I can avoid it

Google's got the strongest offline models people can actually run on sub $4000 hardware that is American based most of the others are minimax

@googlegemma 100% local AI is definitely possible in the future and it's really cool to see the first developments of this because offline AI is unimaginable at this point in time.

Local models are just not powerful enough but this is quite a breakthrough Wow.
