Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra sales rise 45% in Europe versus last year’s Fold 7

Android Authority reports that combined European sales of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra rose 45% versus Fold 7 sales over an equivalent nine-week period last year. Samsung also said Google searches for its new foldables jumped 460% from the previous week during September 6–12, which included Apple’s iPhone Duo unveiling. Ars Technica notes that Samsung did not mention Apple in its announcement; a sales boost from the iPhone remains an inference.
