Trump Mobile T1 survives bend test; teardown finds internals matching HTC U24 Pro

Android Authority reports that the Trump Mobile T1 survived JerryRigEverything’s bend test without obvious structural failure. The teardown found matching motherboard layouts, battery placement and a printed daughterboard model number in the T1 and the 2024 HTC U24 Pro. Both phones booted after their motherboards were swapped. The T1’s most noticeable changes include a gold-colored plastic back and redesigned camera housing.
