Apple reportedly developing a robotic HomeView with a swiveling 9-inch screen

The robot reportedly began as a video-calling project before Apple's AI ambitions for it grew. Its screen is said to swivel a full 360 degrees, while Apple has reportedly debated which software features to include first. The company is reportedly aiming for a 2027 launch at around $1,000 in the US, but release may slip to 2028. “HomeView Ultra” and “HomeView Max” remain rumored names.
