Inc42 reports that Bengaluru-based Alteon Aerospace raised $2.5 million. Founder Samay Sanghvi leads development of autonomous aircraft that use wind energy and dynamic soaring to stay aloft for months. The planes mimic albatross flight patterns. Funding arrived shortly after the aircraft completed an offshore test. It flew multiple consecutive loops autonomously less than a meter above the ocean surface during that trial.
