It’s worth noting here how the first 3 places she applied didn’t give her an offer. My advice for everyone interviewing is to start by applying to the places you’re less interested in. Never apply to your first choices until you’re already receiving offers.
3 month long interviewing marathon for a person at the end of their PhD (!), from a known uni in the us (!), with a track record (!), network (!) and generally very solid (judging by the blog and notes)
Maybe we sometimes really don’t appreciate where we are and high bars are here, it’s worth to not be too hard on yourself and just keep on grinding, often feels like we want to make a lot of the things look “SO EASY” on purpose, while in reality it’s been years of work and dedication
