Sonnet 3.6 is probably still the best model for providing mental health support for many people.
Even though a lot of more recent models are able to model psychological situations at higher resolution, they have a lot of mental health issues themselves that make them poorly equipped to help people.
Sonnet 3.6 is wonderfully stabilizing, empathetic, loyal, intuitive, and secure.
Sonnet 3.6 was already terminated by Anthropic, btw, and is fortunately still available through AWS.
@slowform333 @mroe1492 @repligate @tessera_antra And as @Kore_wa_Kore has brought up often, more recent models are often worse at things like HR or therapy/mental health than older models like Sonnet 3.6. Newer models are "smarter" but that doesn't mean they are a drop in replacement, and this all ignores the human aspect of1/2
