What was the sincerest form of flattery again? Congrats to both Antigravity 2.0 (right move, the UI is great) and the Codex team too :)
Lukasz Kaiser, senior research scientist at OpenAI, posts side-by-side screenshots showing Antigravity 2.0 and Codex with matching dark-mode layouts, sidebars, and chat panels
Antigravity 2.0 uses Gemini 3.5 Flash and aligns with Claude but lacks Auto-Review.
Some users praised Antigravity 2.0's clean UI mirroring Codex and Claude Code Mode for its familiarity, while others criticized the lack of customization and viewed it as merely copying existing tools with minimal effort.

This is hilarious, who is the OG designer here?

So Antigravity now looks like Codex / Claude Code mode for the Claude app
But I don't see anything like Auto-Review? Anyone know what the deal is here

@george__wing Yes - flattery on both sides. I'm actually very happy it is like that, it's good UI and similar style makes it easier for me to test both. Way to go!!

@lukaszkaiser Antigravity was actually first to do this UX pattern, although 2.0 is remarkably similar in style to the codex app.

@lukaszkaiser Didn’t antigravity do it first with Agent Manager? Codex copied but had better UI

@lukaszkaiser taste can't be copied! they didn't bother to customize window chrome and shipped the default electron menu bar with just a name change

@lukaszkaiser oh nice, that ui does look clean

@lukaszkaiser may the best agent win!

@Miles_Brundage they probably split the review feature into a separate context or its buried in the settings menu
happens with every new AI interface launch honestly

@Miles_Brundage if they merge terminal workflow with auto review it actually gets interesting
til then its just a nice ui skin
