Falcon 9 launch produces a jellyfish-shaped plume visible in four states

PCMag reports that an October 13 Falcon 9 launch produced a glowing, jellyfish-shaped plume visible across parts of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia. The effect came from sunlight hitting expanding rocket exhaust just before sunrise, it says. The rocket was carrying more than 6,300 pounds of supplies and science gear to the International Space Station.
