TLDR

The Korea Times, citing South China Morning Post and other Chinese media, reports that CXMT plans to launch server DDR5 with a 4F-square memory-cell design by the end of 2026. The design could theoretically fit 50 percent more cells into the same space than the current 6F-square standard. Samsung Electronics and SK hynix have similar designs on their road maps, but CXMT’s production yields, customer qualification and shipment volumes remain unconfirmed.
