Epoch AI Expands FrontierMath With Unsolved Math Problems
Epoch AI has expanded its FrontierMath benchmark to include 50 unsolved research mathematics problems.
Epoch AI Research posted that it launched an expansion of its FrontierMath benchmark called Open Problems. The post states the benchmark now contains 50 significant unsolved problems from research mathematics and is now live. Accounts including @Miles_Brundage and @Jsevillamol shared the announcement. @Jsevillamol replied to a comment predicting the problems would be solved over the next one to two years. FB SE semi@SemioticRivalryIf you're not paying much attention to AI, it's become so good at math that it completely exhausted the hardest human-completed problems (FrontierMath) and now we've moved on to judging AIs by how many math problems it can solve that have stumped all of humanity until now.
