The Information reports that the ramp is running into problems with the robot's hands, production equipment and suppliers.

The company is building Optimus on factory space previously used for the Model S and Model X, but robots are not merely smaller cars. The Verge's account of the report says the parts are smaller and must fit together more precisely, making alignment and automation harder on a new production line.
