This sadly isn't going to work. The best response is for all AI researchers to stop using Anthropic models. The lack of public feedback alone would cause them to fall behind within months.

"if you train on it, you let us generate - reverse terms of use void"

Status quo 1. We teach frontier devs with ICLR/NeurIPS papers, OSS Github contributions 2. They use it to make frontier models 3. Then ban us from exploring our ideas

We need a new license, original thinkers can't be an underclass to a tyrannical researcher fiefdom

I'm writing a project that uses agents to solve problems, and I was using Opus to help write the prompts. No cutting edge AI research, but how could I ever trust Fable? Maybe it had a better prompt idea for grok 4.3 multi-modal but sat on it, because it thought I was helping xAI.

This decision erodes the little support I had remaining for Anthropic. I propose a Motion of no confidence against Anthropic.

@jsuarez @yacineMTB Yes boycott. So simple. Lets see if that pretraining investment is made up if people boycott

@jsuarez Public feedback only helps if it reaches the training loop cleanly. Which signal would show Anthropic falling behind first: eval drift, app failures, or researcher churn?
