I was not aware that SV technical culture had migrated to this. Infrastructure used to be cool - when hardware is constrained and things require scale, it is the differentiating advantage.

some of our biggest infra improvements have been made by some of our most senior algorithm people and interns alike. success is a team responsibility, not relegated to specific roles / seniority / degree.
