The stickiness of Claude Tag will be like anything before.

@svpino Agree. The lock-in risk is exactly why I made open-tag repo-first + self-hosted: your control plane, daemon, agent workspaces, MEMORY.md and data stay on your machines. Multi-runtime too: Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, Cursor...

@svpino Fully agree ,Handing your company's entire knowledge base to one AI vendor is a slow trap. You get hooked on the convenience, then they own the data and set the price. Open source is the smarter long game keep your flexibility and your leverage.

@svpino I think many companies will choose convenience first and flexibility second. The challenge is balancing short-term productivity with long-term control.

People are far more pissed off he's in Anthropic rather than pissed about that single post. That's my view at least.

I want to believe people see a bit beyond this new product and understand that Anthropic is not out to help people.

Once the agent has read the old decision threads, the broken docs, and the weird approval habit, export stops meaning file export. It has to mean memory export. Does Open Tag preserve that trail?

absolutely. the long-term risk is concentrating all of a company’s knowledge, memory, and workflows into a single agent owned by a single vendor. i think the future is more modular. agents should be replaceable. models should be replaceable. expertise should be portable.

that’s part of why i’m interested in @SkillFunction instead of one giant agent that knows everything, specialized skills own the expertise and can run on different models and different runtimes. the agent becomes a thin coordinator rather than the place where all organizational knowledge lives. https://inferx.net/skill-function

@svpino The whole memory for a channel is in a markdown file in the admin settings. You can just grab that and transfer to anything else.
