It saved me thousands, actually, because I needed more slots and PG&E wanted to charge me a lot more than that to put in a new 200 amp line, which wasn't needed. The Span panel took care of it all.

@Scobleizer I got the 3-phase connected to my system. I already had the 3-phase, 100 amps per phase and they connected that to the GoodWe batteries and panels.
