DoorDash puts third-party AI agent orders at ‘several hundred’

TechCrunch reports DoorDash CEO Tony Xu put total orders from third-party AI agents at ‘maybe several hundred’ and said customers still predominantly order through its app. He said DoorDash wants to work with outside agent makers. Ars Technica notes the tally excludes DoorDash’s own AI tools; its connector for outside agents was limited to a small group of early beta partners.
