There may be a point in the future where we should be careful, but we are not there, and the default assumption, absent a clear standard, should be "open."

The reality is I expect the actual framework they adopt to make me very unhappy. Once we have a specific policy under discussion, that's worth fighting about.
But getting mad at the ephemeral chaos of this administration is fruitless.
The government is very far behind. I'm happy they are paying attention. We should have a coherent framework for responding.
