Survey Links AI to Student Career Shifts

CNBC published results from its Quarterly AI and Jobs Survey conducted with SurveyMonkey. The findings indicate that nearly one third of students and workers currently enrolled in school have changed or considered changing their target industry because of AI. The accompanying article notes that students are reconsidering majors, career paths and industries. It adds that AI continues to reshape industries and that some students are wondering what their careers will look like once they graduate. The report draws from the survey responses without additional independent confirmation in the available posts.
